Tri-County Country Club is a Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located in Forestville, New York.
Tri-County Country Club first opened for play in 1924. The course was designed by Charles G. Nieman.
The fairways are tree lined but somewhat generous landing area. The undulating greens are fast, and there are two water hazards coming into play on six holes.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,829 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 5,510 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 15, a par-5 that plays to 599 yards. This is also the signature hole, requiring a tee shot up a dogleg right fairway, then past a water hazard and some sand bunkers in order to reach its small green. The shortest hole on the course is # 3, a par-3 that plays to 175 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 2, a 515-yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Tri-County Golf Course is # 11, a 225 yard par-3.

They have a loyalty card which is punched every time you play. With every punch hole in the card the next time you play the price goes declines. After 5 punches the price goes from $45 to $20 with cart. After the fifth punch your next round is free. That comes to a little over $28 a round when you average it out. By the way there is no charge for the card. Better condition than most private clubs in the area. Very nice fairways, and difficult greens make this worth my traveling 45 miles to play.
